How it works.
Owens Corning Expanding Blown-In PINK Fiberglas™ Insulation breaks up the fiberglass making if fluffy. What this means is that millions of the tiny air pockets are created in the fiberglass which is what gives the material its insulating power. The insulation is further conditioned throughout the length of the hose attached to the blowing machine. As the PINK Fiberglas™ makes its way up to your attic, additional air pockets are created, increasing its insulating power even more. Since Fiberglas™ insulation will not settle it will hold its energy saving, R-value over time.
